Through our online community from coast to coast and beyond, people living with SCI can share information and provide peer support.
For families and support networks
We provide information on caregiving, advocacy, physical aspects of SCI, community services and many other important topics identified by family members and others who participate in support and caregiving networks.
For health and service providers
We offer the latest information on issues related to SCI, community resources, facilities and services available to help patients. We also provide high-quality self-directed learning tools for patients—an important addition to their clinical care. As a hub of new knowledge about SCI, spinalcordconnections.ca promotes collaboration and education among those working in the fields of SCI service delivery and research.
Our website is the online or e-resource component of the Spinal Cord Connections Resource Centre—a partnership between the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario (CPA Ontario) and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Toronto Rehab).
The physical Resource Centre is located at Toronto Rehab’s Lyndhurst Centre, 520 Sutherland Drive in Toronto, Ontario—which is also home to the hospital’s Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Program and CPA Ontario.
