Tips on Choosing a Vendor
Choosing a vendor that will meet your needs is just as important as choosing the right chair for you. Here are a few tips to consider when choosing a Vendor:
• Call the Vendors you are considering and ask them to give you their sales pitch. Questions to consider asking the sales rep:
Why should I pick your company over someone else?
Do you provide service in the area in which I live?
What do you charge for service calls?
Do you provide emergency service (e.g. burst tire?)
• Talk to other patients (current or previous) and find out who they chose and why. Ask what they like and do not like about the Vendors customer service,
• Go to “Meet The Vendors Day”, held at your rehabilitation facility
• Don’t ask your therapist to choose for you. They would like to help but it would be unethical to make such an important decision on your behalf.
• Don’t wait too long. The sooner the equipment can be brought in for assessment, the more time you will have to make your final choices.
